How To Delete Your Account In The App
Open the relevant Speedy app and sign in to your account.
Go to your profile, account dashboard, or account settings.
Choose Delete account or the rider-account
deletion option shown in the app.
Read the in-app deletion notice and continue.
Send the email OTP to your registered email address.
Enter the OTP, then confirm deletion.
After a successful request, the app clears your local session and
the backend removes account access for the affected customer or
rider account.
Data Deleted From Your Account
Login and profile data: customer or rider
account access, profile identity fields, and authentication
records.
Saved app data and preferences: saved
addresses, saved customer locations, favorites, rider profile
preferences, and related account settings where stored on Speedy
systems.
Security data: active sessions, notification
tokens, and OTP records linked to the deleted customer or rider
account.
Direct identifiers: direct customer or rider
identifiers are removed from active records and anonymized from
retained order, dispatch, or payout records where appropriate.
Rider-only data where applicable: rider
verification-contact details, account-status links, and rider
session access are removed from active rider records after a
successful deletion request.
Records That May Be Retained Or Anonymized
Some records cannot always be deleted immediately because Speedy
may need them to complete service, protect users, or comply with
law. These records are retained only as needed and are deleted or
anonymized when appropriate.
Orders and deliveries: order status, delivery
timeline, proof records, merchant or rider workflow records,
dispatch history, and customer-visible order history needed for
service operation.
Payments and refunds: COD, QR Ph online payment
references, payment-provider confirmation records, wallet
records, payout or remittance records, refund status,
chargeback, reconciliation, and settlement records.
Safety and support: fraud review, misuse
reports, damage claims, dispute handling, safety investigations,
and support communications.
Legal and tax records: records required for
accounting, audit, tax, regulatory, legal, or law-enforcement
obligations.
If You Cannot Access The App
