1. What we collect

We collect data needed to operate customer and rider accounts, fulfill orders and deliveries, process supported payments, and investigate safety or payment issues.

  • Account and verification data: full name, phone, email, customer or rider ID, login credentials, OTP or account-verification status, and profile details you submit.
  • Delivery data: pickup and dropoff addresses, contact details, order notes, proof-of-delivery details, refund or damage-claim evidence, and delivery timeline events.
  • Device and permission data: precise location during active delivery flows, camera images when proof is captured, notification tokens or settings, app version, device identifiers, logs, and anti-fraud diagnostics.

2. Payment and financial data

Payment flows may involve COD, wallet balances, top-ups, remittance requests, payouts, GCash, bank-account references, QR Ph online payments, payment-provider confirmation records, or other supported payment methods.

  • We may process financial metadata such as payment or payout method, masked account details, QR Ph or payment references, top-up status, remittance status, refund status, provider confirmation status, and settlement records.
  • Sensitive card or bank credentials should be handled only by authorized payment partners or secure provider environments; Speedy apps are not intended to store full payment credentials locally.
  • Financial and incident records may be retained for reconciliation, refunds, chargebacks, damage claims, fraud review, tax, legal obligations, and customer or rider protection.

3. How we use your data

We use data only to operate, secure, and improve Speedy services.

  • Assign jobs, provide live tracking and route guidance, and connect riders, customers, merchants, and support teams for delivery completion.
  • Process QR Ph online payments, top-ups, payouts, remittance verification, refunds, damage claims, proof reviews, and account-verification workflows.
  • Enforce safety rules, detect fraud or abuse, protect riders, customers, merchants, and users, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

4. Who we share with

We share only the minimum data required to operate Speedy.

  • Riders, customers, and merchants see only the contact, order, tracking, and proof information needed to complete or support a delivery.
  • Cloud, mapping, notification, payment processors, fraud-prevention, analytics, legal, and regulatory partners may receive limited data when required for service operation, payment confirmation, safety, or compliance.

5. Security and retention

We apply layered controls to protect data in transit and at rest.

  • Encryption, access controls, logging, and incident monitoring help protect rider, customer, payment, and delivery records.
  • Access is limited by role, reviewed through audit trails, and restricted to authorized staff or providers with a business need.
  • Data is retained only as long as required for service delivery, refunds, damage or dispute handling, fraud prevention, tax, and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized when appropriate.

6. Your rights, permissions, and child protection

Users can manage permissions, account requests, and safety or privacy concerns through app settings and support.

  • Request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data, subject to safety, fraud-prevention, tax, and legal obligations.
  • Revoke location, camera, and notification permissions at any time from device settings, but some delivery, tracking, or proof features may stop working.
  • Speedy is not intended for children. Accounts should be used only by eligible adults or legally authorized users. Contact support immediately for child-safety or misuse concerns.
